Adolescence is a transformative time, filled with both opportunities and challenges. Our Teen Yoga Programmes are designed to support young individuals as they navigate this crucial stage of life.

 

Through our specialised Zoned sessions for Sport, Study and Sleep, teenagers will benefit from:

  • Enhanced Strength, Flexibility, Balance, and Range of Motion: Tailored practices that align with teens’ developmental changes, promoting physical performance and overall wellbeing.

  • Increased Body Awareness: Understanding their bodies helps improve athletic performance while minimising the risk of injury, making yoga an excellent complement to any sport.

  • Improved Mental Focus: Techniques designed to enhance concentration and cognitive function, aiding academic performance and sporting success.

  • Stress Reduction and Mood Enhancement: Mindful practices that foster emotional resilience, helping teens manage stress and promoting overall mental health and wellbeing.

  • Tools for Relaxation: Strategies to calm the nervous system and cultivate relaxation and tension release. Equipping teens with skills to settle their minds during stressful periods, whether it's before an exam or winding down for sleep.

Sport Zone

Anatomically led yoga for young athletes

 

Taking place during lunchtime or afterschool, these engaging 30 min sessions occur weekly throughout the school term.

​

Eager to enhance performance? Want to be 'Match Day Ready'? Need an effective match day recovery plan? Our program has you covered!  Each week, we target key muscle groups, emphasising a different area to ensure a comprehensive approach.

 

The curriculum is thoughtfully structured, with each term building upon the last. Tailored bite-sized routines allow them to practice and integrate yoga into their weekly training.

Study Zone

Mindful preparation for success

 

Our sessions are designed to support students during exam periods. We tailor the schedule to align with your school’s timetable and preferences.

 

These sessions provide a serene space where students can cultivate calmness and clarity as they approach their exams. By adopting a mindful approach, we equip students with essential tools to navigate the pressures of academic performance.

Each session we focus on a different breathing techniques to tap into the parasympathetic nervous system, along with yoga poses and guided relaxation all aimed at reducing stress and anxiety.

Sleep Zone

We all know that peak performance begins the night before with a good night’s sleep!

 

Our Sleep Zone offers online guided relaxations and soothing sleep stories designed to help students unwind at the end of the day. These encourage them to release the stresses and distractions of the day, allowing them to settle into a deep state of relaxation and prepare for

restorative sleep.
